9/7 What a summer we have had! Full of new experiences for both Liam and his parents! Liam is 18 months old now and is growing so fast. He saw Dr. Friere today for his well visit and he is 24 lbs 14 oz (20th - 50th %), 33.5 inches (50-75th %) and his head diameter is 19 inches (70th %, which Dr. Friere always laughs about :) ). He is learning at leaps and bounds right now -- he's saying over 20 words, he loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, he can sit for so long reading his books and he is an avid runner (believe me, running after him is quite a workout).

Liam really enjoyed his summer. He spent time with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Mary, Uncle Mike and Nick and Dan in Maine for a few days. He loved the beach but wasn't so into the water. We visited the Aquarium for a day and he LOVED the seals (he kept calling them kitties).

Liam spent the month of August in daycare 4 days a week while Momma helped Nana out in the office. He moved to the Toddler Room and is loving his new playspace. He has many friends who moved into his new room with him. Now that we are back to normal on our routine, Liam will be going to Gymboree for playtime and music.

We are looking forward to the Fall (Momma's favorite time of year). We are planning our Halloween party and hope everyone can make it! We will be planning Apple Picking days and Leaf Peeping trips.

6/2 We have a walker! Liam is walking like a pro now and boy is it hard to keep up with him! I'm definitely getting my workout now a days!

Liam is 15 months old in a few days and I can't believe how time flies. He has so much personality. He says so many different words now and knows many of his body parts and clothing -- he loves to try to put his socks on :) He is learning soft, nice touches when with Holly and Sadie (although sometimes they don't want to stick around).

We visited Vermont this weekend to meet the latest Reardon family member. Ellen and Mike had a beautiful baby boy, Van Michael. He is so sweet! Liam played with Millie, Maya and Mike's neice's little boy, Jonathan. We spent the day in a beautiful park and had a great picnic. It was so great to see everyone and hope to see them again very soon.

The 4th of July is coming and we are planning our annual celebration. We hope to see everyone there!

3/28 WOW! Momma is such a slacker :) . Liam is ONE! It's been so long since an update so I will try to remember everything -- Liam's birthday was so much fun. We want to thank everyone for making his birthday the best first birthday he could ever have! We also went to Nicholas' birthday party the week before! Liam loves playing with Nicholas and he had his first cake at the party! It was an absolutely adorable small bear cake that Nicholas' mom, Kim, made and he tore that bear's head off as soon as it was set down in front of him. He shoved that cake straight into his mouth. You can see those pictures on the Photos page. Liam had his first CARVEL cake (Momma's favorite!) for his birthday -- he was pretty apprehensive of the cold of the ice cream, but he grew to like it!

Liam had his first haircut right before his birthday, and pictures are also on the Photos page. He LOVED it! Uncle Brian came with us and shared in the experience. Liam loves his Uncle so much!

St. Patrick's Weekend was wonderful! We went to Holyoke to see everyone (we were very sad Grandma, Auntie Kathleen and Uncle Pat were not there, though :( ) and we spent time at the parade with Millie, Ellen and Mike, we went to brunch with Gannon and T.J., Liam met our great friend Sean, and we had a wonderful dinner with our family at Aunt Mary and Uncle Mike's house. Liam spent time with his cousins, Nicholas and Daniel and he had so much fun with them! Everyone thought the hat Maya's Grandmother, Cathie, made Liam was the best hat ever!

Liam's 12 month check-up went very well. He weighed 21 lbs 4 oz. and was 29.5 inches in height. He is a healthy little 1 year old. He is babbling away and says Dada (his favorite word), Mama, Baba, Nana, Uh-Oh and Dis (this)! He always says Dis when pointing at things or holding things up.

Liam's love of reading must come from his parents because he is almost nonstop! He loves to have us read books, or he just flips through them and it sounds like sometimes he is making his own story. He has also learned to connect big lego blocks together - but he really loves to break them apart when Dadda puts some together.

Liam is starting to walk while just holding on with one hand so he's on his way to standing on his own. We've been sending him back and forth between us and now he thinks he can walk on his own even though he would topple right over! I guess the little guy trusts us to catch him every time - I hope we don't disappoint him.

We are now weaned and Liam drinks whole cow's milk. He's ready to stay with Nana and with Grandma and Grandpa for an overnight without Momma and Dadda! I think it might be very good for all of us ;)

We are looking forward to spending the weekend with Millie, Ellen and Mike and we really hope we can see Maya, Heather and Shane (Hed, I'll be calling!)

Sorry these updates have been few and far between and I may not get back to people as quickly as I would like to -- things are really hectic with a 1 year old! But I'm catching up on sleep now (finally!) and now that Liam is weaned, it feels like Momma can also be Jen now. You all will be hearing from me soon as I catch up with everyone. Have a great Spring!
